What can I do if everything in German means something else?
You cant say you are my friend, you cant say I love you! You cant just express your deepest feelings without being missunderstood!

@Paola: German is one of the worldst most precise languages, so I’m sure it’s not easy if you aren’t native speaker, but it is in fact vey easy to avoid missunderstandings once you get into the language.
